Thoughts for the day

I almost missed the "newcomers" luncheon today. glad i didn't , met some really nice ladies I decided to start given back by organizing some fundraisers for the community and anyone else who is in need for some extra funds. A.I. has been doing this for a long time, just last winter we raised money for a young woman who needed brain surgery. some of the girls raised funds for their fitness trainer who needed foot surgery. some of them raise money for the schools that are so badly affected by the budget cuts everywhere.
I offered my services to the president of my newcomers group today; they always make donations to several organiztions the end of the year. I am hoping for us to do more this year.

This I have been thinking about for quiet some time now. I would really like to help someone (two, three ... ) out who could use some finacial assistence with IVF. I haven't quiet figured out how to approach the board yet, maybe I should contact the cl and ask about the dos and don'ts. I thought the i-village board would be the one to go to, since this was the place i have spent many months and met some wonderful people.
I would love to do that, just for the simple reason to take some of the burden (in this case financial) of their minds.

I'll have to do a bit more research on how this could work best .....

more later, time for bed now. hopefully i can sleep, it's been a bit of a challenge lately since i have all these ideas floating around my head :)
